Member Requirements
New members can apply once they have completed 2 credit-bearing math courses such as algebra 1 and geometry.
- To be accepted, the average of your math courses must be an 85 or higher (quality points are included)
- Dues are $10 every year and cover your national membership registration, graduation cord, and member events
- Members who complete 30 math related service hours by the end of the 3rd quarter of their senior year will earn a cord to wear for graduation. Members should try to complete 10 hours each year of membership to help reach this total
- If you are not currently in a math course, you must be on the UIL math or computer science team or have completed 4 math courses including an AP math course
